Though born in Missouri, I was raised in Florida. At an early age, I realized drawing was something I enjoyed doing. I choose to go to a magnet high school were I spent most of my time studying art. My art education continued at the Rhode Island School of Design majoring in illustration and animation. After college, I started working in the animation industry and have been enjoying it ever since. Currently, I am working at American Dad as an Assistant Director doing storyboards.

This website was created so that I can show the rest of the world my art outside of work. I have always grown up loving animated movies, shows, and comic books.There are many artist in these fields that have influnced me. At my current job, I'm paid to do animation from 9 to 5 and I love every minute of it. The comic book loving side of me only gets to draw during my spare time. There are not many people who get to see these drawings that I enjoy doing. Mechamonkey was created to have a fun place to make and show my artwork to everyone that would like to see it.
